Vintage 1940s Effanbee Dy-Dee 15\" Blue Doll Coat and Bonnet Set
Authentic, extremely hard to find, easily referenced, all original, and in near mint condition!

Apologies for any inconvenience!This is a preciously adorable authentic blue linen-like vintage 1940s Effanbee Dy-Dee Jane 15\" doll coat and matching bonnet set. Referenced in Barbara Craig Hilliker\'s \"Effanbee\'s Dy-Dee, The Complete Collector\'s Book,\" pages 36 and 83. The coat and matching bonnet is created from a cornflower blue linen-like fabric with delicate white lace that edges both the coat\'s collar and the bonnet\'s wide brim. Embellished with two original blue satin rosettes, one on the brim of the bonnet, the other on the collar of the coat. Coat retains its original two white buttons that are still factory sewn for closure, and the bonnet still retains its original blue satin ribbon ties. The satin ties are shorter than original, yet they are still long enough to tie in a bow under Dy-Dee\'s chin. The coat and bonnet appears to have never been used and remains in beautiful clean condition. This documented Effanbee Dy-Dee doll coat set was originally sold in Dy-Dee Jane\'s sewing machine-style case, and also sold separately for little mommys to add to their doll\'s wardrobe.
