The skirt, alas, is long gone. But the jacket has survived in excellent vintage condition. The design is quite beautiul...

But the big cast flower buttons are amazing...
They are very light in weight...
They look like cast aluminum, but they are not (this was during WW II...aluminum was in short supply). They are cast in a kind of plastic, (possibly bakelite?)...and painted and shaded with a metallic silver paiint.A very wearable stylsh jacket...
So striking...Excellent vintage condition
No stains or tears...
