The vintage 1940s early 50s elgin american beauty powder compact is still in the original box with the pad. The compact is a tear drop shape and measures 3-3/8th inch long and 2.5 wide The finish is a gold tone with a shiney floral design stenciled over the matte background The latch closes tight and pad is clean The mirror inside has some discolor mark inside probably from the original glue but still useable no damage or dents and condiiton is unused in box the box has great color and very slight wear box is VG.
