Up for offer is a vintage 1940s Murano Glass 4 light Grape & Grape Leaf Chandelier. This is a beautiful chandelier with 49 leaves and a total of 10 grape cluster shades. The leaves and grapes are hand formed. The chandelier weighs approximately 20 pound with the shades installed. Its approximately 22” tall with the shades and without the chain. Its approximately 20” wide. Each shade is approximately 6” tall and 4 ½” wide and weighs between 1 ½ and 2 pounds. The shade colors are light blue, dark blue, yellow, pinkish, green and the rest are variations of the grape color. They vary from very dark, almost black or purple, to lighter brown and tan like colors. If you need any more photos or information please let me know. I have a lot more photos.

This chandelier will be shipped disassembled. It will never survive shipping otherwise. It reassembles easily and I will be happy to assist anyway I can via email, text or on the phone. It will be shipped in 2 large boxes. I will cover standard shipping and insurance. It will be shipped adult signature required.

Leafs - All of the leaves are hand form. Most have very small chips or 2. One photo shows the largest chip. One of the leaves has been repaired. It looks like in was broke in half. It was then repaired with what looks like epoxy with tape or saran wrap to hold it together until the epoxy dried. The center hole of the leaves may have some rust or paint staining from the frame work. Some of the “frosting/etching” varies. They also have some manufacturing defects such as rough edges, air bubbles and color spots. Grapes – The grapes are hand formed. Some of the grapes have small chips. The yellow grapes by far have the most, around half. Some of the “frosting/etching” varies. They also have some manufacturing defects such as rough edges, air bubbles and color spots. The grapes are held on to the frame work by wire. Some of the wire is a little corroded and/or rusty. The top row of the dark blue grapes is loose on one side. The shade colors are light blue, dark blue, yellow, pinkish, green and the rest are variations of the grape color. They vary from very dark, almost black or purple, to lighter brown and tan like colors.Frame - The frame work has been repainted and rewired with new sockets. Two of the “vines” have been repaired. Please see the photo. The repair is behind the leaf when installed.
