Vintage 1940s Sweetheart U.S. ARMY Hanky Case WW11 MilitarySouvenir WIFEBaby blue satin hankie holder embellished with pastel satinrosettes on the outside.
On the inside pretty sunny yellow satin and a lacefigural piece that has an American eagle at both ends and the word “Wife” andon thetop the word “Hankies” Below “U.S. AMY” also embellished with a pinksatin rosette on both sides.
The outside front of the holder has some scattered lightbrown spots, the inside is perfect.
I’m thinking that this hankie holder wasn’t ever used andwas just kept as a keepsake.
It measures open 11 ½” by 7 ¼”
Comes in the original box
