Description:

Vintage Coro Fur Clip

Vintage 40s fur clip, featuring blue moonglow lucite \"grapes\" dangling from a \"stem\" pavé-set with clear rhinestones, is an early, unsigned design of Gene Verecchio\'s for Coro.

Design patent number 125,169 for this piece (which refers to it as a \"pin clip\") dates to February 11, 1941. Though there enamel-accented versions (both signed and unsigned) of this design, Verecchio\'s drawing on the patent document shows it exactly as it is here, a looping, bow-like accent set exclusively with rhinestones.
