Vintage Parker Vacumatic Fountain Pen. As you can see from the photos, this pen shows signs of wear and is in need of some restoration.
The barrel of the pen is in good shape. There are no cracks or bite marks, but there are scratches consistent with normal usage. The barrel is personalized \"Genevieve Sal.\" The date nib on the barrel is \".4.\" which indicates the pen was manufactured in second quarter of 1944. The blind cap threads cleanlyon the barrel. The plastic vacumatic plunger moves smoothly and returns to its resting position.
The cap has scratches consistent with normal usage. The arrow clip and jewel are slightly loose and can be turned with some pressure. The blue diamond arrow clip is bent and it does not rest tight to the cap.
NOTE: This pen has not been inked so I do not know if it will require additional parts and/or service prior to use.
