Vintage 1944 WWII Sterling Silver Italian Capri Bell of St. Michele w/Booklet:

You are offerding on a sweet little souvenir of the Isle of Capri in Italy that my father got while stationed there in World War Two in 1944, and it is the \"Little Bell of St. Michele\", the accompanying booklet telling the story of the bell. It is obvious that the English translation was done by someone whose first language was not English, as the back of the booklet urges you to \"Not think of laving the island\" without purchasing the bell. It\'s pretty quaint and cute. The bell charm itself is sterling silver, the Italian marking for that being \"800\" rather than our \".925\", and the bell reads \"Campanina Della Fortuna, San Michele\". The ringer is intact and rings, and there\'s even a tiny St. Christopher attached at the clasp that I\'ll throw in. The bell measures just about an inch long, the chain is sterling silver as well, and altogether everything weighs just about 25 grams on my gram scale.
