This is a 1948 Ingraham model MK35 wall clock made by The E. Ingraham Co. of Bristol, Conn. The case is cast metal, possibly an aluminum alloy. The clock was disassembled and cleaned. The clock face has rust stains from the metal backing plate. I removed the crystal and the hands and removed the face plate. The paper face had come loose from the backing plate and was rippled from moisture. I cleaned the face as much as possible and then ironed to flatten out. I then glued and clamped it to the backing plate. The next day I cleaned andoiled the movement and reassembled it. It has been running and keeping good time for several days. It has a small hum typical of this style of movement. This is not a self starting clock. There is a spring loaded mechanism inside that spins the rotor to get it started. To start you push up on the time set shaft at the bottom and release. It usually starts on the first push. The case has paint loss as shown in the photos. The crystal is in nice condition with one tiny scratch near the \"12\". The clock measures 7.5\" square and is 3\" deep. Although the clock is working well now, I can not offer a guarantee due to it\'s age.
