Here we have an elegant vintage Italian modernist sterling silver rollerball pen with rose gold trim from Kohler & Schaefer.

This vintage rollerball pen has a simple, classy modernist look and feel with the contrast of the rose gold bands on the bright sterling.

It has been fitted with a brand new medium refill in black ink and is accompanied by a vintagecloth covered hard case.

There are two rose gold bands on the cap and two rose gold bands on the body, it has a slide on cap and a threaded section.

This is a slim, well balanced pen measuring4 5/8\" or 117.5mmcapped, 6\" or 152mm posted andweighing 20.8grams without the cartridge.

The section carries the .925 hallmark as well as the Italian lozenge cartouche with cut sides used from 1944-1968.

We believe that the Italian lozenge hallmark reads 53 MI forKohler & Schaefer of Milano, however it is very hard to decipher.

This pen was made between 1949 when Kohler began and 1968 when theItalian lozenge cartouche with cut sides was changed to a new style.

It has been hand polished to a bright shine where we uncovered sporadic surface scratches and and multipleareas of denting.

The hard case is in black fabric, it is marked inside Sterling Silver and it is in nice vintage condition with light wear.

This is a elegantvintage Italian modernist sterling rollerball with rose gold trim andit will make a nice addition to any collection.
