Vintage 1950 Wollensak 10 3D 35mm Stereo Camera w/ f2.7 Amaton Lenses +Cap & collected 3D Stereo items for the last 30 years. It\'s come time that I pass along these hard tofind items to someone else to enjoy. Back in the 1990s it was a lot harder to find the vintagecamera you were looking for. I remember searching for months before finally coming across thisone. I used it extensively in my 3D Dreams photo business and it always workedflawlessly.
The Wollensak 10 is an upmarket Revere 33 with some of the best quality lenses you could get atthe time: it had the super-sharp 35mm f2.7 Amaton lenses. Even now this camera continues to bea very hot collectible. When I plucked this one from my case last night, I was dismayed to see thatall the shutter speeds were all sluggish. I know it worked perfectly 20 years ago when I last used it,but apparently now it is in desperate need of a CLA or in laymans terms, a cleaning, lubricating and adjustment.Other than this, I can guarantee the camera will work perfectly for you as it did I. Because of thisservicing that needs to be done, the camera has been priced accordingly.
Other than this, the aperture ring turns freely to all settings, from the fast f/2.7 to f/22 andeverything in between. The shutter linkage works perfectly to advance the film as intended, as does the additionalcocking mechanism below the lenses. The super-sharp 35mm f2.7 Amaton lenses are clean andclear and ready to grab every detail in any scene you are shooting, The range finder works perfectand the distinct square patterned leatherette covering is flawless. The rest of the exterior has a fewminutescratchesfrom careful usage, but still appears verydesirableand displayable. Also hangingfrom the camera strap ring with a leather lace is the original lens cap. The camera\'s serial number on thebottom is 22952 putting the actual age of this particular camera in the early 1950s. I have a xeroxed copy ofthe original user\'s manual which I will also include.
Please check out my photos of the beautiful camera! Please email if you have any the Wollensak Stereo 10 from camera-wiki:The Wollensak Stereo 10 is a 35mm stereo camera from the Wollensak Optical Company of Chicago, Illinois. It was introduced in about 1950. It has 35 mm f/2.7 lenses, and shutter speeds ½ - 1/300 second, plus \'B\' and \'T\', set by a ring on the right lens: the aperture is set by a matching ring on the left. The shutter is synchronised for bulb flash, with a hot shoe to accept the flash holder.
The camera has a coupled rangefinder, with an eyepiece separate from the viewfinder. It focuses down to 3 feet, using a knob on the top housing, positioned for the right thumb. The viewfinder eyepiece has a simple parallax adjustment, with just two positions, for 3-10 feet and 10 ft - infinity. There is also a bubble level, visible in the viewfinder.Film advance is by a knob on the right, with a frame-counter around the knob.
The lenses accept Series V filters. Each lens has a threaded retaining ring at the front; these are removed to drop the filters into place, and the rings are replaced to retain the filters.
