Up for sale is an original and beautiful 1950\'s wall clock. This clock advertises \"BBS Grocery\" in raised letters and \"Alumanation, Aluminum Coating\". It measures approximately 16\" in diameter and 5\" wide. I have had this clock on the wall in my den for around 7 years and it keeps perfect time. It is made of a hard plastic with a glass crystal. It is electric.
Condition. Keeps perfect time. Lighting works great. Crystal is scratch free. The electrical has been updated. Even though it is in great shape there are some issues. It has general wear from being in a grocery store from the 1950\'s. The plastic has some age related yellowing and minor splitting (cracking) of the face. This could be from the heat from the original light bulbs used on the inside (Once I purchased it, I have used LED bulbs to prevent the plastic from being heated)(I will include the LED bulbs with the clock). The splitting does not take away from the overall appeal and is not noticeable at first glance and does not spread and will not get worse if LED bulbs are used. The face also has some heat marks where the light bulbs were behind it.
