These metal ashtrays are a souvenir of thestates of Colorado, Florida, Indiana, and Nebraska with cities, historic pointsof interest and history pointed out. These stamped one piece base metal ashtraysare typical of those found in many souvenir shops and tourist sites in the U.S.and throughout the world in the 1950’s and 1960’s. The tops are coated in asilver finish and then decorated in red, blue, gold and green paints.
The manufacturers are unknown but they are marked“Made In Japan” or “Japan” on the backs. These items measure approx. 3 ½” X 5”and are all metal.
These ashtrays are in good condition with nomissing pieces but may have some breakage due to frailty of the items and age. Colors and finish on the front is burnished orblackened in spots due to age. Backs are fairly clean with some minor scuffs,scratches, and discoloration.
These vintage souvenirs would make a greataddition to any collection.
