Here we have a vintage Lifton case from the 1950\'s. It is tough to date it exactly as it is no longer paired with the original instrument it came with but doing some comparative analysis leads me to this conclusion.
This fits an 18inch bout archtop guitar. Likely a vintage Epiphone Zephyr is the model that the case came with.
It is in used condition as the photos show. The interior is pretty clean but the outside has decorative tape and stickers from many of the states that it visited. Tolex is missing in areas and up by the headstock area there is some de-lamination of the wood. All the latches are intact and work, the handle has been taped up.
These old Lifton\'s are getting harder to find and are some of the most desirable vintage carrying cases for guitarists and collectors.
