This is Adorable Big Eyed Girl Wall Pocket ismost likely one in a series of \"Miss Dainty\" Porcelain wall pockets byLefton and can assume that it was manufactured in Japan. This is unmarked and/orwithout a foil label, but there is a purplish-blue circle with a number\"49\" inside it on the back (Price?). This is so cute and playfuland would look very sweet withlittle flowers peeking out from the top.
There are imperfections in the hand painteddetails and a very tiny mark on the left side of her chin and a pinhead dot(under the porcelain glaze) on the far side of her left cheek. The painteddetails have minor age related wear but no cracks, breaks, chips, or oldrepairs. There is crazing overall and one (1) age related hairline near thecenter of the hat (picture 6) and one (1) on the back above the circled number(picture 3). All of this is extremelyminor but wanted to point these out for your knowledge.
This wall pocked measures 5 7/8\" H x 57/8\"W the opening measures 2 7/8\"L x 1 3/8\"W
Cleaning has been left to the newowner.Please use care when cleaning as many vintage paints are not firedon and can wash off. All my items are antique, vintage, and/orused and come from a variety of sources therefore I cannot guarantee that anyitem is from a smoke-free or pet-free home.
