From a Jackson TennesseeMidSouthEstate...this vintagePLEASURE CHESTBrandCOOLER/ICECHESTthat would have been manufactured in the 1950\'s. Made in the USA. Measures 15\" length x 12\" width x 14\" height to top of lid; weighs 12 pounds empty. The exterior is made of steel metal with a red painted surface that shows scuffs & scars from past use. A bit of metal oxidation primarily at the bottom edge seam from sitting on the concrete garage floor inhumid Tennessee. Also a dent on the front left side that is shown best in photos #7 and #8. Pleasure Chesttext on the front - stamped beneath \'REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.\' Has the original drain cap, one end of chain broke away. Features a 1/4\" diameter steel metal carry handle that would secure the lid handle to hold lid into place if the sandwich tray were in place. However, the sandwich tray is missing from this one and so I have added a piece of rubber shown in photo #8 to hold handle in place. On the right side a mounted bottle opener. Has a galvanized metal interior liner - clean. Still has its original rubber gasket around the lid that is completely intact & I\'m not seeing any cracks. Is clean inside and out. Stilla greatcoolerforpicnicking, boating, fishing or other outdoor activities. Or you can always park it in your garage, man-cave or with other collectable items.
