You are looking at a beautiful Philips EL 6021 model Dynamic microphone in original hammered paint scheme along with original Philip\'s 6202 model desk stand.
This somewhat rare early microphone was built in Holland sometime around the late 1950\'s and has an amazing modern / contemporary look. It has that jet engine / turbine look to it. It was a high quality Dynamic mic that has a large frame and large metal base. The quality and size of this microphone is impressive once you actually see it in person.
It should be noted that this mic has been thoroughly tested and the signal strength is very nice (like new) but I don\'t have an extra 4 pin cable to sell. You\'ll have to purchase a cable for this elsewhere or on as it take a unique 4 pin connection. The mic is adjustable from Low, Medium and High Z depending on how the cable is attached.
The original paint has very little wear to it and the best EL 6021 I have ever seen. The original screen is very nice with zero rips or holes and both Philips insignia\'s look very good. The swivel has firm resistance giving the user the ability to keep the mic angled as desired. The best part is that the original mic stand is included.
The 6202 model stand shows some wear from years of use but overall in good condition. The painted base shows scratches and chipped paint but there are zero dents or corrosion which is always nice. I decided to add 4 small pads to the bottom because the original pads had all but disappeared over the decades. The base is so wide and low that it\'s almost impossible to knock this beautiful mic over.
This mic will really stand out anywhere in the house, office or studio with it\'s ultra modern look and clean lines. Philips was known for it\'s high quality products being made at that time and their styling was quite beautiful.
This mic is easily an 8 + on a scale of 1 - 10 in the cosmetic department.
