You are offerding on a gorgeous 10 1/2\" - 11\" Circle P Revlon fully jointed Vinyl Fashion Glamour Doll. She is referred to as a \"Circle P\" doll (so marked), made in the 1950\'s. She is fully jointed, has a swivel waist, and has stunning dark brown rooted hair which has been pulled up in a tie to preserve. She is marked on the back of her head with a capital \"P\" inside of a circle. She looks like both the \"Little Miss Revlon\" and \"Little Miss Coty\" fashion dolls. \"Circle P\" is not a name of a manufacturer but refers to a marking which was commonly used on similarly sized fashion/glamour dolls sold by various companies. Some of the the companies which have used this marking are: Admiration, Arranbee, Beehler Arts, Belle, Elite, Sayco, Uneeda and Princess Anna. There is a wide variation in the quality of these dolls, too. Because Arranbee\'s high-quality \"Miss Coty\" doll is a Circle P doll, many think that all dolls with a circle P marking on them are Miss Coty dolls but that is not always true. This doll could be a Miss Coty doll since she is a very high quality doll with nice features such as swivel waist, fingernail and toenail polish, and detailed side eyelashes, but cannot say for certain as there are no other markings. This beauty\'s body, arms, and legs are all made of a sturdy hard vinyl material. Her head is made of a softer rubber or vinyl. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, waist and hips. She has gorgeous, shiny, long, full Dark Brown rooted hair which is full and luxurious. This doll belonged to an elderly woman and she kept her hair up in a tie to keep it intact and preserved. Her face is finely detailed with her big sparkly pinwheel sleep eyes, complexion with slightly rosy cheeks and a petite rosebud mouth. Circle P Lady\'s pinwheel sleep eyes are bright, clear, sparkly and open and close freely. Her eyes are shown in both the open and closed position. Her upper molded eyelashes are dark and undamaged. Her painted on side lashes are perfect as are her brown detailed eyebrows. Her joints are nice and tight allowing her to pose with her arms and legs beautifully. She swivels well at her waistline. She is a high heeled doll, so she obviously cannot stand on her own and needs a doll stand, however in the photo with her dress blocked with tissue on the underside she is standing freely. There are no fingers or toes missing or chewed on. There are a lot of details on the individual fingers and individual little toes. Both her fingernails and her toenails are painted red to match her lipstick. She has great overall coloring and it is pretty uniformly even throughout the head, body and limbs. Her body, arms and legs all look fantastic with no cuts, gouges, splits, cracks, pen marks, stains or dings. There is very little, if any, signs of play wear. She comes dressed in a peach colored gown with the lace outer layer and the lined layer slip on the underside. Both are trimmed on the bottom. The dress closes in the back with metal snaps all secured and intact. The dress is wrinkled some and could use a pressing but otherwise exquisite with some seperation on the backside where it connects to the one arm. This is undoubteldy caused by the aging of the material. Have shown this in last photo. There is some slight age discoloration but in total she is a rare preserved find.
