This is a Vintage 50s Table Petrol (wick) Lighter called The Nordic made by Ronson in 1955. The outside is a beautiful tan marble, the lighter insert is chrome plate and the bottom is in chrome plate with a leaf and scroll pattern.The Ronson Nordic Set wasfirst manufactured in 1955in Newark (N.J., United States). The production went on till 1958. The set consisted of a Nordic lighter and a matching cigarette holder(I only have the lighter). The set was mainly made fromBlack & Gold Marble(Portoro). The Ronson Nordic set was mainly manufactured for people who had an inkstand finished in marble.
