in Original Box! Made in Japan!

Up for sale is a Vintage Yone Wind-Up Hippo Bank in its original box! This is a bright multi-colored tin litho mechanical coin bank from the 1950s! The bank is marked “Yone” and “Made in Japan”. It was distributed by Ahi, Azrak Hamway International Inc. in New York City! The box is marked Ahi Wind-Up Hippo Bank and No. 2042. The bank measures about 6½” x 2¾” x 2¾”. As shown in the photos, the bank is in excellent condition for its age with nice bright colors and details. It has very little play wear and minimal color loss, possibly a few light scratches, some light dents or dings, or a few small marks. The bank winds up and works, so the hippo catches the coin. The top cover is in place to open the bank. The original box is in nice shape with great advertising graphics and bright colors. The box is complete with its cellophane window in place, and there are no split corners on the box top or bottom. The original owner’s name is marked on the box as shown. This vintage tin litho WInd-Up Hippo Bank would make a great addition to your collection!
