Up for sale is a precious 1953 Nancy Ann Storybook MUFFIE. She is wearing \"Muffie in Ballet Dress\" from 1953, # 904. The \"Muffie Puzzle-Almost Solved\" by Roth and Maciak shows this exact outfit on page 32. Wow this is the cutest Muffie I have seen in a long time. She is a gorgeous blonde doll with really perfect hair that is still crisp. Her face is darling with nice eyelashes and blushed cheeks that are all original. Her body is free of any stains or cracks and she is nicely strung. The outfit is just fantastic. The tutu is made of layers of tulle in a beautiful pink that are free of any holes or damage. The bodice is a beautiful satin with pink and gold trim and it attaches with a brass snap in the back. There is no damage to the snap and it opens and closes easily. Under the tutu she wears pink sating bloomers with loop trim which is absolutely correct for this outfit. She has on pink ballet shoes that have faded with pink ribbon ties. The shoes are in good condition but are not as nice as all the other pieces. Lastly she has a pink ribbon tie in her hair that looks factory tied and is adorned with a big pink feather. I just love this doll and she is just a gorgeous Muffie and a fantastic find! Please see all my other vintage doll listings this week. Thanks!
