This is a very cool, vintage bank. It features a red glaze that covers the top of the bank and drips down the edges like real paint. They even let white show through in spots like an actual paint bucket would if it were covered in actual paint.The front says \"Let\'s Paint The Town\" in gold lettering and features a gold handled paintbrush that has red bristles.The bottom is marked 1958 NS Gustin Co. Made In USA.My research indicates that NS Gustin was a pottery company that was based in California at the time this item was made.There are no chips or cracks on the bank. There is darkening and wear on the metal handle and it is missing its plug. The bottom of the piece shows wear from being moved around and used. It also looks like somebody took a pen to the bottom of it at one time. Please take a look at the photos for more details.It measures a little under 4 3/4\" tall. It is approx. 3 7/8\" in diameter.
