Item- Vintage 1959 mid century modern five drawer dresser. Manufacturer- Lane, Alta Vista Virginia.

We are pleased to be able to offer for your consideration this classic Mid Century Modern dresser by \"Lane\".

Judging by the serial number of this piece it was manufactured around late April of 1959. It shows all the classic examples of the build craftsmanship Lane has become known for, the drawers are dove tailed, the drawer bottoms are solid wood. This dresser has a split drawer on top and three full sized drawers below.The wood looks to be walnut, The favorite wood used by Lane.

The dresser measure approximately 40 1/8 inches tall, 38 3/16ths inches wide, and 18 3/16 inches deep. This is dresser is solid wood, so it has some weight to it.

Condition- The overall condition of this piece is very good, It does have a cup ring on the top, located close to the front edge, just left of center, and another area of wear near the center of the top. But both these minor flaws could be rubbed out.

If you are a collector, and have a love and appreciation for the clean functional school of Mid Century Modern design, this dresser wil make a beautiful addition to your home furnishings.
