This is a vintage Airline 6 transistor radio model #1202These were sold by Montgomery Ward stores back in the day....not sure of exact maufacture date but believe late 50\'s early 60\'sThis radio has been tested and works great.....runs on a 9 volt battery (battery is NOT included)Comes with original leather zipper carrying case that has a wrist strapRadio Condition....Very GoodLeather Case Condition....GoodCarrying case does show signs of wear....front area that covers speaker has some minor \"cracking\" and shows alot of wearWrist strap is fully attached and shows some signs of wear as would be expectedEmbossed logo on front \"AIRLINE\" is clearly visible as is \"JAPAN\" on the backRadio case is in great shape with 3 very minor things...The metal \"speaker face\" on the front of the radio has several small \"dents\" or \"depressions\" 0n it...nothing major...but they are thereThe back cover is missing 2 of the \"closure tabs\" that allow the back to securely \"snap\" onBack cover still snaps on but is not as secure as it should be(if you look inside....one of the broken tabs is actually wedged in one of the sides by radio components)
Yes...it has a couple minor flaws...but nothing major and nothing that would detract from the Value or Collectibility of this item
