Here is a very nice used vintage lighter that we recently acquired. This is called a Vu lighter and it was made by Scripto. It has a picture of a man with the large letters GM on his outfit and below that in very small letters it says diesel power. I have no idea what year that GM started making diesel motors, but this lighter looks like it may be from the 60\'s or older. On the back it says K.C. Diesel Power Co. 1711 South Avenue, North Kansas City, MO. and then the phone number which was GR1-3526. The lighter has a turquoise band around it which is still bright and looks excellent. The chrome on this piece also looks excellent. I tried the thumbwheel and it did not move and I didn\'t want to force it, so I wanted people to be aware that it did not move.
