You are looking at a beautiful 1960\'s Olson model M-105 crystal microphone made with an all metal body and chrome front grill.
This microphone commonly was called a \"bullet mic\" due to it\'s styling. TheJapanese mics never measured up near the same sound quality as the American counterparts. This mic has been cleaned and tested but the crystal element is no longer working. A replacement element will make this an excellent harp mic.
There is almost no wear on the original green paint as seen in the pictures provided. The chrome grill looks fantastic though as does the cloth screen.
The label / badgeis pretty nice with just a smallest of wear. The joint mechanism has lots of tension and holds the mic in place perfectly.
This microphone has a classic deco design that was very popular during the 1930\'s & 40\'s before the look faded out around the 1950\'s. It was copied by several manufacturers of microphones back in the day. If you are looking for something very unique in which to display or use...look no farther.
The cable is in great condition being free of any cracks. Length is 3 1/2 inches and was shortened for cosmetic reasons. There is an original 1/4 inch connector on the end that is used to operate this bullet mic.
Mic is 100% original and solid. No loose or missing parts. I would rate this microphone physically a solid 8 + on a scale of 1 - 10. MICROPHONE STAND IS NOT PART OF THIS SALE...for display purposes only. And as with all my vintage microphones...
