This 1960\'s era Japanese microphone was built by Olson and comes with a dynamic element which has been tested and works. The M-213 model has what I would call a typical Japanese dynamic element from that era which is not very impressive but can be used if needed. It sounds more like a crystal element to be honest as the strength is very low.
As you can see in the pictures provided thepolished chrome body is in pretty nice shape showing the smallest of wear. No pitting, dents or engravings though. The metal screens looks nice and the joint mechanisms tighten up nicely allowing you to put the microphone at just about any angle desired. The threading for the stand is perfect.This miccomes withan original cable that\'s been shortened for cosmetic reasons and 14 inches long. Perfect physical & working condition. The microphone measures 6 1/2 inches tall X 2 inches wide. The Olson badge looks very nice as well.
This mic is easily an 8 on a scale of 1 - 10.
MICROPHONE STAND SEEN IS PART OF THIS SALE...It\'s a period 1960\'s adjustable type that is an exact replica of the Lanier brand so it may very well be. The stand has a classic cast iron painted base with dual chrome stems for getting the exact height needed. The cast iron base is free of any corrosion, chips or scratches and looks fantastic. The chrome stems look very nice as well with no corrosion.
Total height of the stand is 14 inches and can be lowered to 9 inches. The base is 5 1/4 inches wide. The mic stand combo is really nice.
