Hello my name is John. I restore, recondition vintage microphones for display, prop and functional use. I am offering this 1960\'s era Atlas CS-52 extending microphone floor stand with 1960\'s era LO 2 quick release adaptor. This stand is fully functional and in above average cosmetic condition. The base design is a one you do not see very often from the era with a 2 piece lap design with the stem screwing in securing the 3 pieces together. The stand is nice and solid with the tripod design that is around 14 inches at the base. The stand adjusts from 33 to 62 inches without the LO 2 adaptor and around 64 with it attached. The adaptor allows for a nice press and lift off feature saving threading wear on both the stand and microphone. The 5/8 threading on this stand and adaptor is the standard 5/8 which will mount all common vintage and modern microphones. The adjustment clutch is nice and tight for setting the height.
