You are looking ata very unique pill type variant microphone.

This 1960\'s era Japanese microphone was built byAret and comes with a dynamic element which has been tested and works. TheDM-120 model has what I would call a typical Japanese dynamic element from that era which is not very impressive but can be used if needed. It sounds more like a crystal element to be honest with you. A newer and stronger element can be added if needed.

As you can see in the pictures provided thepolished chrome body is invery nice shape showingzero scratches, engravings orpitting. The metal screens looks new and the joint mechanisms tighten up nicely allowing you to put the microphone at just about any angle desired. The threading for the stand is perfect.This miccomes witha stock cable that\'s6 feet long and in perfect physical & working condition. The microphone measures 6 1/2 inches tall X 2 inches wide.

This microphone is quite rare to come across and it has all of it\'s original hardware...nothing missing. The original box is included and has the original foam inserts.

While I wouldn\'t suggest using this live I would certainlydisplaying among your other fine vintage microphones.

This mic is easily a9 +on a scale of 1 - 10. I stand by it 100%.
