You are looking at a very nice Astatic DN-50 from the 1960\'s along with a 4 1/2 foot F-11 adapter.

This particular model was named the DN-50 due to it\'s use of a High Impedence element rated at 50 OHMS. The Astatic label shows very little wear and still legible. These DN-50 microphones can be used for broadcasting but can also be used as an ideal Harp mic due to sound characteristics.The paint on the body of this DN-50 has just the smallest of wear but overall extremely nice with ahigh gloss finish. The chrome grill and neck or extremely nice as well. The felt black screen is perfect and the joint mechanism holds strong just like it should but allows for a wide degree of tilt up and down.

The DN-50 has a beautiful deco design that was quite popular until this style faded out in the 1950\'s. Very much appreciated these days however as the look was timeless. This microphone has been tested and the signal strength is 100%. Certainly one of the best I have ever heard and that\'s hard to find on these older mics.

MICROPHONE STAND SHOWN IS NOT PART OF THIS SALE...for display purposes only. There is an F-11 adapter provided and it\'s 9 feet in length. It\'s in fantastic physical and working condition. You need an adapter if you plan on using the mic as it has a unique 3 pin attachment.
