Murray Flat Face FireTtruck. This is a rare, hard to find, un-restored, all original pedal car from the 50’s/60’s. Nearly every part is there except the windshield, which is available from various parts providers on this site and others, and the horn/light. Most of the photos I researched on-line looked like mine without the light, so possibly that was not available all years of manufacture. This pedal car is fairly large, measuring approximately 44inches long, 18 inches wide and 20 inches high at the ladder racks, and is heavy, manufactured from thick gauge steel. To the best of my knowledge, all parts that you see are original and show less than normal wear and tear for their age, however, they also have a wonderful patina. Even the ladders and seat pad are original, which are nearly impossible to find, and all 4 hubcaps are in good condition. There is little or no rust and absolutely no corrosion. I have had it on display in my home for 30 + years. It is mechanically sound. I would not restore this pedal car as it is more valuable as is - an un-restored original, however most parts, paint and decals are available.
