Rare Vintage Navy Blue School Knickers made from cotton interlock. We have aquired several boxes from a closed school stock room. The boxes were sealed and the knickers were packed in bags. The boxes have a despatch date of 1971 but we would say they are 1950s/60s style, they were superceded by a more brief style without the short leg and wide gusset that these have.The knickers are in pristine condition. They have a stretchy narrow elastic waist. They have a cuff style leg opening which has narrow stretchy elastic. Front and back centre seam. Wide double cotton gusset. There is no manufacturers label, only a tag which we assume is size 36.Waist unstretched 26ins, stretched 32-36ins comfortably, fully stretched 40ins. Leg openings unstretched 18ins, stretched 24ins.
