Up for sale, a large 14\" x 26 1/2\" vintage Walter (Margaret) Keane lithograph print.
Titled Beachhead \'63
Copyright 1963. It was lithographed in Japan, printed from an oil painting.
Actual image is 12\" x 24\".
Actual image is excellent, no fading, creases, rips or tears. One spotat the top that goes about 1/4\" into the image area.Overall it\'s invery goodcondition. Afewspots on thebottomedgein the white border area, lower right corner very slightly bent,a few spots here and there in the white border area, these will not be visible when framed. Back has a few spots that must have had tape or labels removed.
The story about the Keanes is he forced her to put his name on her artwork. Eventually, she took him to court and provedit bydoing a painting in 53 minutes. She won the case.
