This is a great Baby Girl Vintage Head vase by Samson Import Co. from 1963 # 5359A in VGUC ! Just needs a very good cleaning !Can\'t believe this still looks so good after 51 years !Turned up nose, blonde hair peaking out from underneath a pink edgd cover/blanket; ruffled cuffs; big blue eyes and plenty of eyelashes; pretty bow lips and all of her fingers...the details are remarkable ! Paint is still in such good condition.....again, please remember, this needs to be cleaned... I don\'t want to have low response because someone bought this item and expected a spotlessly clean vase.No, it\'s not disgustingly dirty...if it was..I wouldn\'t sell it ! But, the inside with the florist tape, etc... has collected a lot of debris over the years. I did wipe it out pretty gently with a cotton cloth.....but, that was all I was willing to do...considering the bad luck I\'ve had with cleaning items...lol !This is from my late Aunt\'s home. I remember this from vase (and there were many) whenever one of my cousins was born. At that time, everyone sent flower arrangements in these ornate head vases. You can see in one of the pics, it still has the remainder of the floral tape and the green sponge used to hold fresh flowers...really needs to have a thorough cleaning....it\'s been collecting dust for over half of a century !Stands approx. 7 1/12\" tall; 5 7/8\" wide and 5 3/8\" deep.There are a few marks on it and some shelf wear..but, a friend told me to use a Mr. Clean Magic Sponge on the bottom and a great deal if not all of the marks will be removed.I have used that product on some of my items and it does work very well.No chips or cracks or repairs which I can either see or feel.Just needs to be well cleaned.I don\'t clean items for fear of causing damage.....in fact, I just broke something (not this item) last week trying to clean off a bit of residue......broke my own rule and broke a lovely figurine :(
Never again !!!!!!Several years ago, I damaged two very expensive items by attempting to clean them.
