For your consideration is one mostly complete Louis Marx Co., TWIN LOOP 1/32 scale Slot Car road race set. This vintage set is from 1966. The set is missing the small power transformer and several small things are broken here & there, like one drivers head is broken off and gone and several of the guard rail fence post are broken but overall it still seems generally OK! It could use a good cleaning because for the past 45 or so years it was up in the attic.... We recently moved so it\'s time to sell it!Because there is no transformer anymore I cannot say that the TWO cars, One Red & One Blue are in operating condition....but, the small \'electrical slot car pick-ups\', under the front wheels look good and I can see that the motors are in place. Both speed controllers have the wires attached and squeeze very smoothly. All the track pieces including the TWIN LOOP sections (Orange pieces with black base tracks) are accounted for and also includes; 1- 90 degree double crossover, 1 curved terminal track section, 11 curved sections, 1 straight Lap counter section & a filler track piece and 3 straight section. The original box has many tape repaired tears and a couple small missing pieces but as seen in the gallery photo it still looks OK. The set includes the complete original, dated 1966, three page...double sided instructions. It should be noted; Because the set is missing the transformer and is therefore untested it is being offered \"As Is\" and shown.
