This set is VERY difficult to find complete. Skipper\'s COUNTRY PICNICis a very popular vintageensemble. While the dress is fairly easy to find, all of the little accessories can create a challenge. This is one of those ensembles where if you want it complete you will probably be better off to buy it complete rather than to try to piece it together.

There are many pieces; a darling sleeveless springtime cotton dress of pink, light green and aqua/turquoise cotton with 3 butterfly appliqués on the front of the full skirt. The dress closes in the back with two metal snaps and carries the Skipper tag in this ensemble. This fashion comes with a matching cotton purse with ruffle detailing. A pair of Skipper pink flats marked Japan complete her attire. The VHTF accessories are;the red and white checked picnic blanketwhich has coordinating fringe on all 4 sides, a red and white checked napkin, a turquoise plate, a wax watermelon slice, plastic hamburger on a bun, a big fork with a hot dog on the end, an tiny ice cream cone, a red and blue thermos bottle and cup/lid with a decal on one side of a Scottie dog, a strawberry soda with cotton fizz, a four color ball, and a butterfly net with paper butterfly inside.

These little accessory pieces are so cute with their intricate detailing,that they are now sometimes more valuable than their correspondingSkipper clothing.

Everything is excellent vintage condition; I do not find any issues to report. The dress is super nice with a TM unfrayed Skipper tag. All the little piecesare the authenticand original items. The little ball is SUPERB . . . very little paint loss, only where the paint has cracked atop the rubber; this is normal.
