Sony\'s first pre set transistor radio! Vintage 1966 Sony Model #2R-26 8 Transistor Radio.AM only. Very nice display model that retains its original shine. Comes with the original strap wrist handle with key that fits into the four preset slots on the side. Also includes rare protective case.

This is a small shirt pocket size radio.Dimensions are:4 1/8” x 2 1/2” x 1 1/8”.Black plastic case with front aluminum round metal perforated grille area.The case is ingood condition, no chips,no cracks, no dents or scratches.The front of the radio displays very well with bright lettering and bright aluminum speaker grille with no dents. Top right manual tuning dial, top left thumbwheel on/off/volume knob, center top switch for four preset stations. Four settings on right side are adjustable with key attached to wrist strap. All lettering is bright and readable.

Runs on a square 9 volt battery.Inside is clean and corrosion free.There is static when the radio is clicked on and when dial is turned for more volume. I just can\'t tune in a station.
