VINTAGE 1967 Elly & Andy Remco Baby Mouse Twins 3 Story Tree House :

This was an attic find of a rare 1967 toy in excellent condition for its 50 years of age! It was advertised as Elly & Andy Baby Mouse Twins 3 Story Tree House by Remco, although the house has 2 floors (possibly the balcony makes it 3 stories?) This toy is hard to find and amazingly most of the accessories are included. The tree house is made of tin with plastic parts, such as a balcony, chimney, window and door frame and steps. The furniture is plastic. Included are the hutch, dresser with working drawer, mushroom table with 2 tree trunk seats, small table top picture frame (which had often been a lost part), bucket elevator with working crank and small metal piece to make a clicking sound as the elevator goes up and down, beds on the second floor which are not removable, tree trunk with swing, 2 mice with moveable arms and tails, and a cardboard stone patio ( which has a stain on 1 corner.) The things I have determined to be missing are 2 plastic cheese chunks, Andy\'s blue cap, and a small plastic wedge to hold the tree trunk swing in place. Currently I have a substitute wedge in place so the swing may operate. Andy is wearing a vest and Elly is wearing a plaid dress with a bow on her head. The cloth does show its age, a bit frayed, but still holding up for its age. The mice themselves are in wonderful condition with the words REMCO IND INC 1967 embossed on their backs, though a little hard to read. Unfortunately the box was damaged, so it is not included. Should bring back memories to those who grew up in that era, or be a great addition for the collector of vintage toys.
