You are looking at a 1970\'s era Shure Brothers 579 SB model dynamic microphone that comes with it\'s original clip and sleeve. This 579 SB has been thoroughly cleaned and tested. It has a very strong, clear signal and is great for vocals.
The mic is set at Low Z but I find it to be more of a mid range sound than a true Low Z. More of a medium Z sound.Pic # 2 is from a catalog I have showing all of the mics performance characteristics.
The mics finish is pretty nice as seen in the pics provided with an absolute minimum of wear. The mesh globe is perfect and the off white plastic pieces show an absolute minimum of wear. On / off switch works just like it should. This micuses anXLR cable which is not included but are very common and cheap to buy.
An original A57D Shure Brothers clip is included and works great for this microphone. Last but not least...a beautiful Shure red felt sleeve to keep your mic safe. It\'s a nice package deal for sure.
