Very RARE! Made In USA!This is really cool. You are looking at aVintage 1974 Gibson J-55 Acoustic Guitar. Great Sounding and Playing Guitar. The J-55 is a reissue of the original Jumbo 55 produced from 1939 to 1943. The main issue is they went to laminated mahogany back and sides. The J-55 also featured an arched back and double-x style bracing.
Very Big Deep Tone. Great Sound Projection. Kind of a \"Woodsy\" tone. Nothing really sounds as good as well dried out aged wood. This GibsonDelivers!
Our luthier did some repair work on this guitar. On the upper bout, he repaired a crack. (See picture #9). You have to look real hard to see it. He also repaired the binding on both sides of the body. He did a complete setup. Brand new strings were installed.Gig ready on Arrival!

Cosmetics:Good \"Relic\"Condition.Keep in mind that this is a44 year old vintageGibson that has been played.There are scratches, scuffs, chips, dings and dents on both sides of this J-55. Structurally it is Sound. Solid and Tight.It really is just normal wear and tear for a players guitar.Very Authentic.Dripping with \"Mojo\" It is used. Not perfect. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
