Quality vintage lunchboxes are among the most coveted collectibles, as they were made to be knocked around and generally mistreated by children. Therefore, often few mint or near-mint vintage examples remain, making them out of reach to the average collector. When I began collecting, I soon realized that the average vintage lunchbox enthusiast has to resign themselves to overpriced, beat-up boxes.
For years, I’ve sought out quality boxes in need of TLC** and meticulously restored them to the best condition possible.
