Topps Garbage Can-dy was made in America up until 1994, started in 1976. They were produced in distinct series/runs throughout that time. Each Series has a different copyright on the base of the candy container which makes them easy to date. I\'ve been collecting these a long time and in 2009 I even devoted a whole website to them, called garbagecan-dy.com, but closed the site in 2011. I\'ve spent many hours researching Garbage Can-dy, talking to past Topps employees and artists, and dealers. I have a large archive of Topps advertisements and insider reports, where this information is coming from. In my opinion there is no greater novelty candy than Garbage Can-dy!

Series 1: 1976. Distinctive qualities include, thick textured walls, concave base with \'nipple\' and old-style, thick font.

Candy container in good shape! Candy eaten long ago, empty! Some sticker residue on lid, typical, can easily be removed with mineral spirits or fingernail polish remover. See pictures, see for yourself! In amazing condition!
