This listing is for an vintage \"English Channel Swim Team\" snapback hat, circa 1980\'s. Swimming the English Channel is a difficult feat (the shortest distance across is 21 miles!!!), so this hat was probably humorously produced to commemorate the accomplishment for a past champion of the English Channel.
Hat is blue, with red and white \"English Channel Swim Team\" embroidered on the front, along with a red pair of goggles in a wet puddle! Cool retro look, and definitely one-of-a-kind! Not likely to find too many of these; only a handful of people have successfully accomplished the swim!
Adult sizing, snapback, one size fits most. Tagged \"Designer Sports by Crowd Caps, Made in Korea.\" 65% polyester, 35% cotton. Adjustable with snaps in back.
Excellent vintage condition. There are some faint white spots on the brim, pictured in last photo, but really difficult to see -- very unnoticeable, and may come out with treatment. Overall, a great vintage hat in great shape.
