Thislovely collectible, the 1981 annual Christmas Eve “Jule Aften”plate by Bing and Grondahl (B & G) of Denmark, is titled“Julefortaelling AChristmasTale” andit features a scene with a child, dressed in winter accessories withheart motifs, holding a bundle of grain that is being enjoyed by aflock of doves. It is a porcelain plate that is colored with tintsand shades of blue, it has a 7-1/8 inch diameter, it is marked “B &G Copenhagen Porcelain Made in Denmark 9081Juleneget ChristmasPeace”, along witha hand-painted blue “N” . This plate has only been displayed,and except for not having its box and paperwork, it is in very goodvintage condition.
