Vintage late 1980\'s Franklin Mint die-cast diecast very detailed WW 2 airplane model with hangtag, stand and paperwork. The paperwork includes a color brochure \"On The 50th Anniversary Of World War II, The Air Force Museum Foundation Presents Shoo Shoo Baby, B - 17 G Flying Fortress, Scale 1:96, Wingspan 12 7/8\", Franklin Mint Precision Models\" loaded with specs and info, one return envelope, order form, a letter from the Franklin Mint, envelope and a letter from The Air Force Museum Foundation, Inc. The wood and aluminum stand display base is marked \"B-17G Flying Fortress, An Official Issue Of The United States Air Force Museum Foundation\". The hangtag hang tag attached to the metal stand reads \"B-17G, 1989 FMPM\". The plane is marked\"B-17G,Flying Fortress1989,Franklin Mint Precision Models\". This extremely detailed and very well-made model has retractable landing gear, rolling wheels, pivoting top and bottom gun turret, rotating props, removable canopy/top piece to see the very detailed interior, opening bomb bay doors and very detailed bombs ready to drop, beautiful decal markings, etc. It looks to be in excellent complete with the exception of one small plastic side gun that could be easily replaced with a piece of wire or thin black plastic. The plane needs a light dusting. It displays beautifully. There is no box. It is sold as is and as pictured with returns not accepted. $16.00 postage.
