VINTAGE 1ST ½ 20TH C. “DUMAYINC. FIFTH AVE. NEW YORK” CAMPHOR GLASS SQUIRREL COVERED NUT DISH (or candy dish). Approx. 6 ½”Hx5”W on four splayed feet. Fully sculpted full body of squirrel standsatop lid and has a nicely textured coat.Two defects: one ear is missing and the lid has (a long time ago) beenset down askew on the base and is stuck there at a slight tilt. That may be easily correctible, but we don’twant to chance it. Otherwise no chips,flakes, cracks. We’ve enjoyed displayingit as a cabinet piece for a long time.
