large Original 1940s Tom\'s Peanut 5 cent Peanut Butter Sandwiches jar and red toplid.
Vintage Tom\'s peanut 2 gal. size Sandwich 5c jars came out in the early 1940s and lasted into the late 1940s, these 1940s Tom\'s sandwich 5c jars were theFIRST BIG 5 CENT JARSthat Tom\'s came out with in the early 1940s for just their Peanut Butter sandwich crackers as they didn\'t have any sweet sandwich crackers atthe time.
The writing on the Tom\'s sandwich 5c jar hasEat written in Script and Tom\'s and Peanut Butter Sandwiches in block and 5c on both sides of the jar, the Large Tom\'s sandwich jar andred top lid in good condition, has 2 small chips on outside top of jar rim, size is 9\" across and 13\" tall with the lid on.
