\"Tragic Years 1860-1865\", by Paul Angle and Earl Miers. This is a stated first printing by Simon and Schuster in 1960. It is a two (2) volume set and each book measures roughly 9 1/2\" by 6 1/4\". There are 1097 numbered pages including the index. There is no slipcover.

Exterior: In fine condition. They are no soiled, faded or stained. The corners are intact and not rounded. The spines are intact and the pages are firmly attached. The corners are intact and not rounded.

Interior: In near fine condition. They are marred only by an owner\'s bookplate in each volume (see photos). There is no writing, underlining or notation of any sort inside. There are no age or moisture spots inside. The pages are bright.

This is a real nice tight set of books. If it had a slipcover, I would be asking a whole lot more.
