I recently returned from Milan Italy with a large private perfume collection. These include release fragrances from private perfume launches, limited edition presentations, and special formulations and packaging. I will slowly be listing these over the next few months.

Birmane by Van Cleef & Arpels 100ml EDP Splash. Launched in 1999. The name is French for Burma. The perfume was created by Richard Herpin. It is classified as a light fruity floral fragrance for women. It begins with a burst of fresh fruits and the airy floral note of freesia, followed by a heart of luminous white flowers, resting on a powdery, woodsy base.

Top notes: kumquat, peach, freesia, bergamot, pineapple, rosewood and lemon

Middle notes: jasmine, rose, scarlet lily, orchid, iris and heliotrope

Base notes: vanilla, tonka bean, musk, sandalwood and cedar
