Vintage Egyptian Revival Stencil Leather Sewing Needle Case Made in England

This vintage Egyptian revival stencil leather sewing needle case Made in England dates from the 1920s. The case is made of a soft supple tanned leather with a marbling color effect and black stenciled artwork done in an Art Deco, Egyptian revival motif style with hieroglyphics, decorative images decorating both the front and back. This unique sewing notions case still contains a large variety of needle sizes inside, with decorative marbling tiered layers for holding the needles, a front strap closure and is stamped in gold embossed lettering inside Made in England. The case measures 5 by 3 inches. It is in good condition, with only some slight minor wear along the edging. This is truly a wonderful piece of collectible sewing notions and Egyptian revival art!
